Research program Nomad Dance Institute

Nomad Dance Academy is organizing Nomad Dance Institute starting in Ljubljana 23rd until 29th September 2013, in frame of Performance Situation Room as part of Life Long Burning project.

Artistic residency in Ljubljana

Artistic residence in Ljubljana from 23 September – 05 October 2013 for Kai Simon Stoeger, a choreographer from Berlin.

For Want of а Better…

For Want of а Better… is a performance group from Caen, Lower Normandy (voice: Déborah Lennie, sound: Patrice Grente, image: Fred Hocké) whose current project is centred on the idea of a diary-in-progress. They leave their hometown and travel together towards the performance space. The moment they leave, the work has begun: filming, recording sound, writing texts and music along the way, somehow gathering material, which reflects the journey towards performance, both concretely and symbolically.

Artistic residency of Fleur Helluin, visual artists from Lower Normandy

Inspired by the Bronze Age archaeo-astronomical observatory in Kokino in Macedonia, Fleur Helluin had one-month residency in Macedonia in 2013, working on this site. By connecting with the observatory space, Fleur Helluin in her work was focused on the pure forms and atmosphere of this space.
