From 2018 – 2022, Life Long Burning (LLB) – Towards a sustainable Eco-System for Contemporary Dance in Europe will realize two cycles of a two years programme. Over the 4 years, 21 artistic projects will receive enhanced structural accompaniment for 2 years each: LLB sets out to invite artists/artistic collectives of diverse ages and backgrounds to travel the network and benefit from all its diversity (10 in the first cycle, 11 in the second one).

Furthermore, Creative Crossroads supports additional works with residencies and co-production fees and together with Locomotiva as a associative partner of Life Long Burning (LLB) and is involved in providing residences and co-productions.

With its 6 activities, the project offers sustainable support for emerging as well as mid-career contemporary dance artists, aims to stimulate exchange with other disciplines and expand its sphere of activity and audience through a strong feedback attitude:

Creative Crossroads: two-year funding program, whose offers (residencies, workshops, production cost subsidy, dramaturgy / technical assistance, etc.) are tailored to the needs of the 21 participating artists / groups

Dance Hub: workshops, residencies, production support for aspiring dance artists, dance administrators and dance writers

danceWEB Scholarships: five-week scholarship program for contemporary dance and performance

SuSy Support System: Training program for dance administrators

Choreographic Convention: platforms that address current topics in contemporary dance

Performance Situation Room: Format-open, artistic gatherings whose contents are aimed at daily and socio-political topics
