Is a platform for development, presentation and sharing of programme of Lokomotiva
The platform presents an open space for production and sharing of knowledge developed within different programmes and activities of the organisation, free for exploring and sharing by the art and cultural communities and any interested citizens.
The audio-visual content presented on the platform includes:
– video documentation of live events (performances, workshops, conferences, lectures, discussions, concerts etc.) organised by Lokomotiva, mostly in Kino Kultura – project space for contemporary performing arts and contemporary culture, but also in other venues, locations and spaces;
– digital online programme initiated as possible format of production and sharing cultural programme and events in the period of physical distance due to COVID-19 pandemic, which open other perspectives and possibilities to stay in-touch, exchange and work together. This programme offers recorded or live streaming of events (lectures, interviews, public talks) developed within different programmes of the organisation.

Music Culture with Macedonian music authors

Lokomotiva- Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture from Thursday 12, till Saturday 14 of November will realize Music Culture program which deals with research, contextualization and presentation of music culture.
The program unites a series of three events dedicated to three contemporary Macedonian music authors of different generations, whose work moves between the world and the local homegrown culture in the field of electronic music. Each event will start with a short conversation introducing the author, his oeuvre and current work process, but also we can learn more about the opportunities for creation and performing of the independent musicians in our country, especially in the current pandemic conditions.

“Connection” with Hristina Angelovska

This training will be based on movements and exercises adapted for all active and passive participants and dance lovers. By listening and feeling our own body we will find ways and accordingly try to release it. We will try to eliminate fatigue, pain in certain parts of the body, to seek our own internal balance and to establish a connection with the time, space and circumstances surrounding us.

“BodyFlow Dance” with Ivana Kocevska.

Ivana will share with us her approach to the movement: BodyFlow Dance!
“BodyFlow Dance” is a principle of body movement and is a combination of dance movements combined with exercises for strengthening, stretching, balance, coordination and proper breathing.

Тhis time of crisis, still continues, but we have decided not to give up the opportunity to hold classes on contemporary dance techniques and movement research: KULTRENING, but to adapt them to the circumstances.
Therefore, in the following two months, our collaborators – dance artists, will hold online classes!
This adaptation will enable artists to continue with their work, and all others, interested, to have opportunity to be part of these free classes.

International Summer School “Curating in Context”

The citizens association Lokomotiva – Centre for New Initiative in Art and Culture from Skopje, programmes and organises the first International Summer School “Curating in Context”, which will be implemented from August, 25 until September, 15, 2020.
The first edition of the school is organized as part of Lokomotiva’s two-year project “Curating in Context” (2019-2021). The project is realized in partnership with the Stockholm University of Arts, the University of Zagreb (Faculty of Dramatic Art) and Tanzfabrik Berlin, and it is supported by the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport – Erasmus+. This year, the International Summer School “Curating in Context” is also supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia.
