EDEN/ dance performance/

EDEN juxtaposes two worlds that are simultaneously present in the meeting between a performer and an audience. The here and now of the theatrical meeting collides with the realm of images that hover in the spaces within, outside and in-between the bodies. Working with these images through a figure of a clown, EDEN collides opposites and stages paradoxes playfully and with a sense of humor. EDEN is not a blissful state of rest. EDEN is a place of healing with a razorblade.

Iskra Sukarova/ presentation/

Associated professor PhD Iskra Sukarova on this session will represent her work as one of the founders of the contemporary dance scene in Macedonia. Sukarova as choreographer will share her experiences in relation to the dance practices and theory through her work with Ana Vujanovic with who she has realized several collaborations in relation choreographer/dramaturge

A Solemn Event/TELEMAMA/concert-like performance /

Telemama’s Solemn Event is a concert-like performance. Its appearance and content sublimate few elements of school performances from the socialistic era, in which the author have participated during her childhood years with many of her fellow-schoolmates. Within that relatively conservative mise-en-scene she sings her own songs, played on ukulele. Their main subject is the ongoing authoritarian political picture in Macedonia and the individual’s position in it.
