Strategic group meeting/ Learning Teaching Training

February 17  – 20, 2021

DOCH – Stockholm University of the Arts, one of the partners of CURATING in CONTEXT project, in the period between 17 and 20 February 2020 in Stockholm organised and hosted two project activities Strategic group meeting and Learning Teaching Training programme.

17 and 18 February were dedicated to the meeting of the strategic group (Transnational project meeting activity), which is responsible for the overall programme and financial coordination of the project. Members of strategic group discussed the procedures of work, organisation, reporting and evaluation of the planed activates, models of communication among the partners and with the collaborators, audience and the media, and development of the plan and time frame of the following activities in the year 2020. The strategic grope was represented by Biljana Tanurovska – Kjulavkovski and Violeta Kachakova (Lokomotiva – Skopje), Goran Sergej Pristas and Tena Bosnjakovic (The Academy of Dramatic Art – Zagreb); Zoé Duflot and Gisela Müller (Tanzfabrik- Berlin) and Christofer Fredriksson, Kristine Slettevold and Martin Sonderkamp (DOCH – Stockholm).

Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski and Violeta Kachakova in Rotterdam attended the partners meeting of ACT: Art, Climate, Transition project

The second meeting of the project partners of European project ACT: Art, Climate, Transition – European was held in Rotterdam on the 10th and 11th of February.

The meeting was organised and hosted by Rotherham Theatre with participation of other project partners representatives: Art Admin/London, Bunker/Ljubljana, Culturgest/Lisbon, Kaai Theater/Brussels, COAL/Paris, Domino/Zagreb, Kampnagel/Hamburg, NTIL/Riga, Rotterdam Theatre/Rotterdam and Lokomotiva /Skopje.

Violeta Kachakova presented NOMAD Dance Academy as a successful example of regional cooperation within “Imagine – Create – Share” promotion and networking seminar for the EU programme for support of the cultural cooperation in the Western Balkans

On 5th and 6th of February in the European House in Skopje, a seminar was held with the purpose of presenting the new EU program for support of the cultural cooperation in the Western Balkans, organized by the Department of Creative Europe within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

The focus of the seminar was the presentation of the new program for financing the cultural cooperation in the Western Balkans, presentation of successful projects of regional and European cooperation, presentation of cultural operators from the region, creation of opportunities for promotion of regional cultural cooperation, networking and establishing partnerships for creating quality and relevant projects that would apply to the program.

Violeta Kachakova participated in the seminar program and presented NOMAD Dance Academy – Regional Platform for Contemporary Performing Arts as an example of good regional cooperation practice, which has been continuously working for 15 years in the development of contemporary performing arts in the Balkans and beyond in Europe.

Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski as a representative from Lokomotiva, from 8-12 January attended GPS/Global Practice Sharing yearly meeting and program GPS Chats event at Movement Research’s Courtyard Studio. Besides, she followed performances and met artists, managers and curators from USA with who discussed for future collaborations.
