With just one side and one margin you resemble the Klein bottle or a Möbius strip. As if there is no inside or outside, your polygon-made body dances along the pixels of the LCD screen. The everlasting negotiation and transfer of information between the GPU and the CPU. The polygons of your polymesh made skin upon which a variety of textures and properties are stretched and skewed take the appearance of the organic only when shot with the ray from a point of view of a hypothetical camera, analyzed by the rendering engine which processes you into a photorealistic form. A form in which I recognize you.

Cruising the Manifold, Disoriented. is a spoken word live act manifesting as a meditation on a carpet. A poetry recital set to a backdrop composed of GAN depictions of queer landscapes with the occasional affective clone (3D figure).
A Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) trained on an image database of common objects in context (COCO) was made to generate depictions of physical spaces from a simplified textual description. Instead of pointing to the algorithms bias for its inability to offer a plausible representation in the form of a persuasive image, this inability is understood as a queer failure, a failure that allows for these spaces to remain fluid, unfixed by the petrifying forces of the pinkmarket.
biography:
Marko Gutić Mižimakov, b.1992 holds an MA degree in New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He works, plays, researches and experiments through video, 3D animation, performance and installation. He differentiates between digital and virtual and is drawn to topics from and of the body. His collaborators are often performing artists. He works and lives in Zagreb where he recently initiated the project Čvorište / The Hub – a virtual exhibiting space in a magazine form accompanied by a program of experimental, ephemeral and hybrid art practices, hosted by G-MK. Since December 2014 he is a close acquaintance of The Best (Najbolja).
The performance is realised in the frame of the RESIDENCY STAY of the Croatian artists Sonja Predrad (choreographer / performer) and Marko Gutić Mižimakov (visual artist / performer) in Kino Kultura Skopje, organized by Lokomotiva – Skopje.
The Residency is part of the “Contemporary Choreography and Dance” programme of Lokomotiva supported by Ministry of Culture, the City of Skopje and the Municipality of Centar.

Со само една страна и една маргина вие заличувате на шише „Klein bottle” или Мобиус-ова лента. Како да нема внатрешност или надворешност, вашето тело – налик на полигон танцува заедно со пикселите на LCD екранот. Постојано преговарање и преносот на информација помеѓу GPU и CPU. Полигоните од вашата кожа како сплет на мрежи на која се истегнуваат и искривуваат разнолични текстури и работи кои изгледаат органски, само кога се осветлени од зрак од гледна точка на хипотетичка камера, анализирано од рендерирачки погон, кој ве процесира во фоторелаистична форма. Форма во која јас ве препознавам.

Cruising the Manifold, Disoriented е медитација на килим. Поетски рецитал ставен на позадина на слики од GAN прикази на квир пејзажи со понекој повремен афективен клон (3Д фигура).
Прикази на физички простори генерирани од упростен текстуален опис со помош на Алгоритам (GAN), кој е претходно трениран на „Дата база од слики на општи објекти во контекст” (COCO).
Наместо да се укаже на пристрасност на алгоритамот и неговата неспособност да понуди убедлива репрезентација во форма на веродостојна слика, неспособноста е разбрана како „квир – неуспех” („queer failure”), односно неуспех на прикажаните простори да останат флуидни, нефиксирани од скаменувачките сили на розовиот пазар („pinkmarket”)
биографија:
Марко Гутиќ Мижимаков, роден е 1992 година. Завршува мастер програма New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts во Загреб. Тој работи, игра, истражува и експериментира преку видео, 3D анимација, перформанс и инсталација. Тој прави разлика помеѓу дигиталното и виртуелното и е вовлечен во теми за и од телото. Негови соработници често се уметници од изведувачките уметности. Тој работи и живее во Загреб, каде штотуку го иницираше проектот Čvorište/The Hub – виртуелен изложбен простор во форма на списание, придружувано од програма на експериментални, ефемерни и хибридни уметнички практики, организирани од G-MK. Од декември 2014 тој е близок познаник на The Best (Najbolja).
Перформансот се реализира во рамки на УМЕТНИЧКАТА РЕЗИДЕНЦИЈА во Кино Култура на Соња Преград (кореограф/изведувач) и Марко Гутиќ Мижимаков (визуелен уметник/изведувач) од Хрватска во организација на здружение на граѓани Локомотива – Скопје.
Резиденцијата е дел од програмата „Современа кореографија и танц” на Локомотива која се реализира со поддршка на Министерство за култура / Ministria e Kulturës, Град Скопје и Општина Центар
