The jury for the Dance Works! Programme 2017 consist of Angelina Georgieva, Dejan Srhoj and Aleksandra Janeva Imfeld are announcing the results for the co- production proposals of Life Long Burning (LLB) programme- Dance Works!
Besides the criteria of a quality of the artistic proposal, important aspect for the jury was the relation of the project to the region of the NDA network, part of which is the co-producer Lokomotiva-Skopje, as well as to its aims to enhance regional and international collaboration, sharing knowledge and artistic resources.
Led by these criteria, the jury gave the privilege to the proposal “Make it, make it, don’t fake it” by Darko Dragičević, Esta Matković and Vanja Smiljanić, co-produced by Quartier am Hafen, Cologne STANICA Servis za savremeni ples, Belgrade, JSKD Javni sklad Republike Slovenije za kulturne dejavnosti/Republic of Slovenia
Results for support of the Wild Card (residency in Budapest, Workshop Foundation) and Dance Works (Co-Production) in frame of Long Life Learning will be postponed for 10th of September.
Results will be published on the web site as Lokomotiva gets them by the jury. Jury consist of Alexandra Janeva Imfeld, Angelina Georgieva and Dejan Srhoj.

Nomad Dance Academy is back this summer, returning from its journey with fresh ideas, inspiring teachers, ancient city and contemporary dance Workshops. Nomad Summer provides space for people to learn, share knowledge, enter research processes and perform. It is about creating a community that is open, ready for dialogue and reflection.
In parallel with the workshop programme Nomad Summer developed programme slots on the themes: Education policies/Formal and Informal education (in contemporary dance); Regional model for education and research (in contemporary dance) and models of collaboration; Methodologies in teaching/Feedback, organised in the form of Presentations and Discussions. Lokomotiva’s Critical Practice _ MADE in YU programme of Life Ling Burning project participates to BALKAN PLATFORMS programme of Malta Festival Poznań from 22 to 25 June 2017.
Invitation followed as recognition to Critical Practice _ MADE in YU and its working practice involving mentoring, support to self-organisation, networking with magazines, platforms and festivals and free programmes; support given to young critics who are deficient in this field in Europe and the programme regional (Balkan) dimension.
