How do we work in the (independent) performing arts scene?
ONDA meeting local performing arts scene
20.04 – 23.04.2023
@ MKC, Skopje
Lokomotiva in collaboration with ONDA, as part of its interdisciplinary program, with the aim to encounter the Macedonian contemporary performing arts scene with 25 curators from diverse theatres and festivals in France, is organizing and curating from 20-23 of April, 2023 in Skopje a program that includes performances, artists talks, discussions and meetings.
The French curators will have an opportunity to meet with the artists and talk about the actual performances, processes of development of the ideas, as well as with the larger scene on topics related to the working conditions, policies and politics in which they operate locally and internationally, how are the spaces for performing arts organized, production facilities, distribution of the performances in the country and internationally. Lokomotiva will also raise the issue of whether we need an institution on contemporary performing arts?
Thanks to Ana Jovanovska who is behind the design of this jubilee.
