Call for proposals for co-production

DANCE WORKS! programme of Life Long Burning project

The Life Long Burning (LLB) network considers the co-productions of dance and performance pieces as an important tool to develop dialogue and exchange both between artists and between dance organisations on the European level.

Therefore the DANCE WORKS! Programme supports co-productions of new works realised by choreographers and dancers from Europe, co-produced by project partners organisations.

The coproduction activity is directly linked with the Prix Jardin d’Europe, as at least four Dance Works! pieces are among the 10-14 annually nominated works.

NOMAD Dance Academy (represented in the LLB project by Lokomotiva/Skopje, Stanica/Belgrade and Tala/Zagreb) areinviting you to propose your art works for the co-production scheme between Nomad Dance Academy and LLB project.

The call for proposals is open only for the artists from the NOMAD Dance Academy network.

The co-production projects have to be collaboration of artists and/or organizations from at least 3 European countries. As this is the instrument for support to the young artists, and as the young is not defined, please do not get restricted with this rule.

Supported co-productions have to have premiere by the end of February or beginning of March, 2015 latest in order to be eligible for selection of 8Tension programme (Prix Jardin d’Europe) in the frame of ImPulsTanz 2015.

The budget that NDA can invest is 6.700 EUR for 2 co-productions. That means that each applicant has to fundraise around 3350, or 50% of the total budget.

If your budget is less, send application anyway, so that the selection committee takes smaller co-productions into account too.

Committee will be elected by the principle of balance: this year persons from Macedonia, Croatia and Serbia will be invited to do the selection.
