Call for proposals for co-production

DANCE WORKS! programme of Life Long Burning project

Lokomotiva and its partners are inviting you to propose art projects for the co-production scheme between Nomad Dance Academy and LLB – Long Life Burning EU project.
The Life Long Burning (LLB) network considers the co-productions of dance and performance pieces as an important tool to develop dialogue and exchange both between artists and between dance organisations on the European level.
Therefore the DANCE WORKS! Programme supports co-productions of new works realised by choreographers and dancers from Europe, co-produced by project partners organisations.
The coproduction activity is directly linked with the Prix Jardin d’Europe, as at least four Dance Works! pieces are among the 10-14 annually nominated works.
The projects have to be collaboration of artists and/or organizations from at  least 3 European countries. As this is the instrument for support to emerging artists, where “emerging” is not precisely defined, please do not get restricted with this rule.

Co-productions have to have premiere by mid March 2016.

NDA has a total budget of 5.600,00Euro for this program.
Only after selection will be decided about sums, but  applicants have to fund-raise another 50% of budget that they receive from NDA (in kind costs are not included)

The selection jury will be elected by the principle of balance and by invitation. The jury members will be announced later.

Hereto is attached the form for application.

You should submit your proposals until 15th May 2015 latest to the following addresses:

The final selection of coproductions will be announced by the end of June.

LLB is supported by EU programme for Culture
